ADMISSIONS PROCESS
STEP 1: VISIT OUR SCHOOL
- Schedule an admission tour during regular school hours. ( 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
- Note: The open house event is a great way to get to know MPCS. (Annually during the end of January)
STEP 2: APPLY
- Monterey Park Christian Preschool admits children age 2 to kindergarten
- Turn in a completed registration packet with a current Immunization Record & Registration Fee
- Physician’s Report must be turned in within 3 weeks of child’s enrollment at MPCS
- There is a non-refundable $225 application fee

STEP 3: ADMISSION DECISION
By March 31, MPCS sends out acceptance or rejection letters. Students receiving rejections will be placed on a waitlist. If requested, registration fees will be refunded for those opting to be removed from the wait list.
MPCS has open enrollment year-round for the summer and school year programs.

Summer Program



We will fill this summer with plenty of art, science, and outdoor play! And of course we can’t forget our math and phonics review to keep us fresh for the school year! We will learn just how treasured we are by God with daily Bible lessons and weekly Chapel. Our weekly themes are designed to lead us through exciting adventures as we play to reinforce all that we learned during the school year. Each week will end with a “Fun Friday” filled with activities such as on site field trips, special guests, and party days! Space is limited to those outside our current program, but we love to make room for new friends and alumni friends! Come spend the summer with us! June 2-July 31, Full day and Class only options available for 2-6 year olds. *Must be 6 through July 31, 2026

Registration Instructions:
- Attend MPCS Open House event or schedule an admission tour
- To schedule a tour, please call (323) 890-4545
- Turn in completed registration packet
- Secure signatures on all forms in the appropriate sections as needed
- Physician’s Report must be turned in within 3 weeks of child’s enrollment into MPCS
- Up-to-date Immunization Record.
- Pay Registration Fees (non-refundable)
- By cash or check made out to MPCS
- Current parents also have the option to pay registration fees by Tuition Express

- Turn in the “MPCS Student Application/Agreement”
- Turn in the “Summer to Treasure” registration form, if you plan to come to the summer program
- You may turn in your school year registration on Open House day
- For children who have never registered at MPCS before:
- Please fill out the for the “Summer to Treasure” registration form, if you would like to start in June
- You may turn in your school year registration on Open House day if you’d like to start sooner
*Spots will be filled on a first come basis of each class. Please give this your immediate attention.

LUNCHES & FOOD
The School provides healthy snacks daily. Students have the option to bring their own lunch or take part in our hot-lunch program. For information regarding current availability, please reach out to the school directly.
OPEN HOUSE

Open House is an opportunity for families, both currently enrolled and those considering enrollment at Monterey Park Christian School, to explore our facilities and engage with our educators. Here’s what you can expect:
- Classroom Showcases and Performances: Teachers will proudly exhibit their classrooms, and each class will have videos of the teacher and children “in action”.
- Classroom Visits and Teacher Interaction: Parents are welcome to visit different classrooms and engage in discussions with teachers. Attendance at the Open House is optional.
- Registration Details: During the Open House, registration forms for the next Summer Session and school year will be available.
